Dewatering

Process for separating solids from water for disposal

The dewatering process utilizes polymers to draw fine solid materials together to form larger masses of solids. Afterwards, a decanting centrifuge easily separates the aggregated solids from the water for disposal.

The dewatering system will process all waste fluids generated during the drilling operations. These fluids include:

Drilling fluids mixed with water from the rotary table, mud tanks, mud pumps, generators and any other discharge point around the drilling rig
Water-base drilling fluid with high content of fine solids, from the mud tanks
Excess cement slurries when cementing casing (max. 50 bbl.)
